Ergonomic assessments and training

Better office workstation ergonomics is good for business

Konekt’s ergonomic training and assessments are designed to assess your worker’s workstations and home offices to ensure they are set up to minimise the risk of injury, boost the employee’s health and wellbeing, and enhance their productivity and performance.

Ergonomic training and assessment research results

The use of ergonomic principles has become an important tool for reducing the rate of workplace injury. Research conducted across 200 companies whom had undertaken ergonomic assessments found that:

  • 92% of respondents reported a decrease in Workers’ Compensation costs of more than 20%;

  • 72% reported productivity increases of greater than 20%; and

  • 50% reported quality of work increased in excess of 20%.1

Konekt ErgoScreen™

Konekt ErgoScreen™ is Konekt’s new online ergonomic assessment solution. For home-based and remote employees, traditional ergonomic assessment delivery methods can be slow to deliver and cost prohibitive – Konekt ErgoScreen™ allows you to provide ergonomic assessments to many more of your employees ensuring that they are working in a safe and productive environment.

Konekt ErgoScreen™ is an online self-evaluation ergonomic assessment – employees receive immediate feedback through a report and receive training and advice to ensure they are operating from a safe working environment.

When ergonomic hazards are flagged, and cannot be resolved by the employee, Konekt are able to provide support services via telephone or with an onsite assessment dependent on the hazard identified.

An increasing number of businesses are redesigning their offices in line with Activity Based Working principles. Konekt has extensive experience in delivering ergonomic services in these environments and in promoting the benefits of Activity Based Work to employees.
